Presentation of Slovenia at the international forum Classical:Next
SIGIC is taking part in the international professionals forum for classical and art music in Vienna Classical:Next, which is taking place between 29 May and 1 June. SIGIC organizes the Slovene stand at the fair at the Viennese MAK – the Museum of Contemporary Art.

The Classical:Next forum is an international get-together dedicated to all who professionally engage in the international classical music scene.
The four-day event includes a fair, a conference and performances by various musicians. The first edition of the event, which took place in Munich last June, attracted more than 700 representatives of publishing houses, concert organizers, performers and other participants who not only presented their work, but also looked for an opportunity to establish new partnerships in the art business world. In this year's event, which is taking place in Vienna between 29 May and 1 June, participation of exhibitors in the music fair has increased by 70% and there will be 20% more representatives from 40 various countries.
You can view some of the higlights of last year's Classical:Next fair here.
This year's event will also have three parts: short introductory performances by musicians (showcases), a conference and a fair. At the fair, SIGIC will organize a common Slovene stand, thus offering an opportunity for a variety of exhibitors from the ranks of Slovene classical music publishers, distributers and supporters of Slovene composers and young talents to present their work ( Publishing and Record Label RTV Slovenia, , Editions DSS, Branimir Slokar Academy, Glasbena matica, Intek d.o.o.).
