Young Slovenian composer Anže Rozman goes to Hollywood
Young composer received an invitation from one of the most well known film score composers, Hans Zimmer.

Rozman's musical career led from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana to the Valencia campus of Berklee College in Spain, where he gained a lot of knowledge and acquaintances.
How he landed a job with Zimmer, in his own words:
“In May 2014, Berklee organized a recording with the 54-piece orchestra in the famous Air Studios in London, where Hans Zimmer also recorded music for many of his films. I spotted Mr. Zimmer on the very first day of our arrival, and on the second day I ran into him in the canteen. We chatted for a while and I mentioned that I’m working on music analysis of the Gladiator film for my master’s thesis. A couple of months later I posted my recording on an online forum Hans Zimmer regularly visits, too (https://vi-control.net/portal/.), without knowing that he will actually listen to it.
A few days later he called me on the phone and told me that he genuinely liked what I had recorded and that he had plans for me in the future. Over the next four years he followed the work I posted on Facebook. Last May I contacted him via Facebook messenger and he gave me his phone number. I called him and asked if there was any chance to come and work for him and got offered composer position. I will be one of the twelve composers in the team. This will certainly be an exceptional experience. I am moving to Los Angeles for a two-year period.”
