The second album of the duo Warrego Valles (Nina Kodrić and Nina Hudej) feels very alive and all flesh and blood at the junctions of electronic production.
The musicians managed to eternalize the sound images beyond the muted noise and buzzing of our communication machines.
Striking bass line intervals are powerful, the tunefulness of resonant samples and the aesthetics of electrified loops are in tune with the vocal narrative, which sends shivers down spine. The structure of compositions and arrangements originate from the bare, completely rudimentary rhythms, sounding like onomatopoeia of tribal rituals; other times they sound like the beating of our own hearts.
Unlike their first album, Save As does not scream, even though its apocalyptic prophecy is more scary and horrifying.
