The RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra embarks on a European tour and the Ingenium Ensemble performs in Brussels
The RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra is starting a one-week tour with guest conductor Daniel Raiskin and violinist Vadim Gluzman. The orchestra will perform at 5 different venues in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands between 13 and 19 October 2013.

Member of the international orchestra network ONE – Orchestra Network Europe, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, will be performing under the direction of Russian viola player and conductor Daniel Raiskin (chief conductor of The Rhenish State Philharmonic in Koblenz). The orchestra will accompany the Russian violin virtuoso, a Juilliard graduate Vadim Gluzman, who will perform three great classical-repertoire violin concertos: the Bruch Concerto for violin and orchestra no. 1 in G Minor and Brahms and Tchaikovsky Concertos for violin and orchestra in D Major. Alongside the violin repertoire the orchestra's concerts in Witten, Antwerp, Eindhoven, Mülheim an der Ruhr and Villingen will feature symphonic masterpieces by Dvořak, Smetana, Mozart and Tchaikovsky.
The vocal group Ingenium Ensemble will perform at the European parliament in Brussels on 2 October. The second half of the concert will feature the Slovene violinist and entrepreneur Miha Pogačnik with a programme that explores the parallels between playing classical music and engaging in innovative leadership.
