In recent years Tine Grgurevič, a \"barefoot\" producer and pianist who goes under the name of Bowrain has stepped out of a safe jazz shadow into to a much more complex genre forefront. His latest album is a mature work that has been evolving for a very long time, and although his music is flying high, the artist stands firmly on the ground.
No exaggerated euphoria is noticed here, everything is in service of music as a disassembled combination of Rubik\'s cube of sounds and guests, whom Bowrain combines or unifies into a dynamic collective according to his unique feeling.
The album Distracted focuses on the sound interventions in light of modern production expressions, which give the record a very organic sound. The developmental logistic of the arrangements gives the impression that the listener is actually witnessing an extremely creative jam session.
